The Samurai blade edge has gone down in history as one of the sharpest in human history. Samura have this tradition deeply embedded into their DNA. Launched in 2003 they worked closely with MAC and Mcusta to formulate their ideas to create some of the most impressive chefs and kitchen knives the world has ever seen. Samura use the finest Swedish and Japanese steels hardened to 58-60 on the Rockwell scale in combination with a traditional Japanese shape and fine taper from the spine, which enhances their unrivalled cutting performance.
This Samura Santoku knife has a traditional Japanese geometry, with its spine descended to the point. This shape with a forward-shifted centre of gravity is ideal for chopping, shredding, and a variety of other activities. Undulating notches above the cutting edge line prevent food from adhering to the blade in use.

Add to BasketBought some Samura Damasc knifes and loved them so much I thought I would buy some of the other ranges of theirs to try, wasn't let down, this is beautifully made, and the thin razor sharp knife could easily circumcise a gnat, I don't like traditional chefs knifes but this is superb to use, not too large, and the right shape to do many different jobs.
This knife is a beast, so sharp out of the box. It my wife's favourite knife for chopping, it goes through all the veggies with ease. It's well balanced, feels good in the hand and not too heavy. Quality kit and great Heinnie service.
