Add to Basketi would buy a uk legal version of this to take to work it's easy to sharpen the false granton edge doesn't appear to stop cheese sticking but it's a good slicer , its a big knife for a folder the blade is a similar length to a 4max scout the only other big folder i have , can't fault rough riders build quality for the price
Took it to Tenerife with me as we went self catering, and it performed well doing basic kitchen stuff, cutting fruit, cheese, rolls etc, came sharp out of the box. Didn't give it 5 stars because it didn't come with a nice corduroy type pouch, but I've sorted that out now. Great service from HH as usual....want the Damascus one now!

It looked amazing and perfect for camping and weekends away I love it ! But the back lock was impossible to release on my one almost broke my thumb ! Sadly I sent it back with hennies wonderful return policy, now waiting in anticipation for another one! It’s a great design everyone should get one but with an easy release lock!
Solid build but unfortunately not great as the handle touches the cutting board before all but the tip of the blade. Therefore can only really use about 30mm of the tip of the edge if cutting onto a surface, such a shame as a good concept let down by poor design.

Perfect for Camping ultra sharp Chef Knife
The Rough Rider Sous Chef Pocket Kinfe is an excellent knife for food prep when out camping or just in the kitchen! The knife is well made and has a good fit and finish with an excellent quality 440a steel blade with a chefs knife pattern on both sides which improves the cutting with foods like cheese and so on! All in all it is an excellent quality knife, and I highly recommend buying for food prep whilst camping as its an proper chef knife but folds for easy carry!
