The RoseCraft Blades Ocoee River Kayak features a 5.92 cm (2.33") D2 K-Clip blade with a brushed satin finish. It’s 2.7 mm thick with a half stop. This one-bladed traditional slip joint features brushed steel bolsters, steel liners, and a steel RoseBud shield. The covers are split red resin and burl wood. It’s 9.21 cm (3.625") closed, 14.99 cm (5.9") open, and weighs just 82.2 g (2.9 oz). Designed by Andy Armstrong. It is a UK friendly carry knife thanks to its sub three inch and non-locking blade.
The Ocoee River is based on an original “Kayak” pattern designed by Andy Armstrong. It’s a swell-center canoe with very different blade styles than you’d find on a traditional canoe pattern. This one-bladed version is also a “bare-head”, as it has only lead bolsters.
