Excellent for chicken and potato roast
A really excellent product. Heavy duty quality. The cast iron is not too thin and its diameter is large enough to make sure you can roast a big chicken and potatoes and vegetables for up to four persons. After usage cleaning is simple. The chicken will stay moist and the pan will give some taste to the potatoes as well. The included booklet with recipes is handy, especially for cleaning. However, they stress that a large chicken should roast for an hour in a 200 degree pre-heated oven. I have an average capacity oven and I would apply 180 degrees (ventilated) for 45-60 minutes to avoid drying out the chicken meat.
