The Medford AIO-2 knife began life as a simple crayon sketch, handed to Greg Medford by a close friend and Force Reconnaissance Marine. The design has been reissued with updated blade geometry and softened edges, making it far more comfortable and practical to carry while staying true to the original concept.
The blade is not serrated, instead using dull notches designed for lashing with paracord and for securing the blade when used in improvised applications. A fire-starting divot is positioned for typical left-hand grip, while the original crowbar feature has been replaced with a grooved pommel, refining the design without losing its functional intent.
