    Not suitable for gardening

Posted by Ian L on 5th Apr 2021

Used for clearing of holly and brambles mainly. These gloves are not thick enough to protect against anything but the smallest thorns and developed holes after a few weeks. They are not water proof (admittedly not claimed to be) and they offer limited protection on the thumb (El Chete sliced right through the thin fabric covering the thumb) - OK that was more user error than the gloves fault, but I use a machete a lot and these don't cut it. Also they absolutely reek of plastic/chemicals. Perhaps the glue used to apply the branding?

    Backstage

I use my gloves working backstage as a Sound Engineer. The gloves are great for poking your hands into tight places like the backs of sound racks with the great dexterity to do and undo any type of electrical / Sound connectors. Then once again come in to their own when moving flightcase to and from the venue and the trucks.
