MecArmy TR26 Photo Luminescent Glow Bar

Right hopefully you read this review before you make the purchase so your more informed…. Firstly the build and quality is top notch of this “Glow Bar” However you’ve got to be really clear on the reason of making the purchase… *This glow bar ONLY works by you shining a light directly on its Photo Luminescent powder vile… it states in description by only shining a light for 3-5 seconds it can glow up to 8hrs… I can tell you 1st hand this is an absolute imaginary…and the fob does not retain its glow for more then 5mins if even that, and that’s when I’ve had it under direct 350lumen torch. *This makes the item Redundant for its actual use.. as you 1st have to charge it with a light, for it to only last a few minutes at best….So if your attach this to key fob/bag/tent zip it’s useless as if you already had a light around you wouldn’t need it , in the 1st place. For a item that costs +£32…. Please save your money and by a fob/glow bar that has the ingredient “Tritium” in it. This actually glows in the dark without having to “charge” the fob itself and completely works for its intended use, which for me is to be able to find my keys in the dark when I don’t actually have the light on or near a light. *My advice for anyone looking for the same case use save your money and purchase a Nite Glow Ring… which uses Tritium & costs around £11-£15, under half price of this Mecarmy Glow fob…. *H.Heinnie….. guys can you get your hands on selling Glow Rhino Glow Fobs and other Tritium items from this lines. *Anyway hope this helps in saving your money people, or at least your making a purchase and know what you’ll be getting.

excellent dog marker, when my two run off this igives a low level glow but whebn shine tghe torch to it quickly charges it up a bit, works for me havent lost em yet

Have this on a carabiner clipped to a belt loop so always out in the day light, and doesn't glow come night. If you shine a torch or light on it. Then glows a treat. But the whole idea was for this to do its thing during the day and glow at night making my keys easier to find. Can say it doesn't do that. Would be 1 star but I do like the look and finish of the item, just a shame it isnt particularly for for purpose. If you want to hit it with a torch for 10mins before dropping your keys in a bag for just before dark then it would be perfect. But who's gonna do that.

I love this little Glow Bar. You can hang it round your neck or attach to an item so things can be readily found in the dark. Definitely a boon when camping. Yes it's expensive but it's made from Titanium!

Expose this to light and when the light goes down this takes over and happily glows away for hours, its no Maglite but gives a ambient glow for marking essnetials like zipper on bag or a guy rope

This is overpriced and overrated.This does not do what it says it will do.Gone by instructions and glow lasts for 10 mins max,8hrs must be another product it certainly isn't this.
