The Maserin Boar Bowie is the result of collaboration between Maserin Cutlery and the Facebook Group "Wild Boars Our Passion". The sim of this collaboration was to produce a specialised boar hunting knife using high quality materials and excellent craftmanship. The steel is AISI 440C with a high component of carbon with a thickness of 5mm and hardness HRC 57/58, to guarantee cutting performance and edge durability. The logo of "Wild Boars our Passion" is engraved on the blade. The handle is made of non-slip orange G10 resin. The G10 is a lightweight, durable material, made of fiber glass and resins pressed under high pressure, at high temperatures. The production is 100% made in Italy, in Maniago. Supplied with a black leather sheath.

I have owned many Bowie knives over the year's and this one is up there with the best of them. Great quality material's and built to last. Razor sharp out of the box and worth twice price. Love the Orange handle which is great for big hands. Treat yourself , you won't regret it.

Thank you HH brilliant knife was unsure whether to go for this , the handle made it look like a kitchen knife but holding this knife the picture definitely doesn’t do it justice bargain

A really nice knife for the price, the quality of this one exceeds it's price point, very well finished, good sheath, solid feeling bit of kit, the handle isn't quite as bright as it appears in the pics, shame it's not stocked with the green micarta scales.

This is the sharpest knife out-of-ther-box I have ever seen: razor sharp! Bog bowie style knife from Maniago (IT), you can slice a deer or chopping with it. Solid 440C steel, good leather sheat. Not so ergonomic handle which btw can be easily adjusted with sand paper and small effort - or replaced with an home made new handle (no epoxy to fix the handle: just torx). Slightly big knife but not heavy (5mm thick) and definitely very good for the price.

But I can't get my evil paws on it until Christmas day. There are only four or five specialist pig twatting blades available and I must have this knife as I have all the rest.
