    Awesome Marbles Bowie!

Posted by Peter on 5th Jun 2019

This is a fantastic bowie! Great for the camp and garden! Keeps a wicked edge, strong full tang, blade is not the thickest but prefer anyway, more like a mini machete! I've another on back order... just in case they stop production!

Still using this machete and its as good as new, there are better machetes out there but not for £1**5.

    A true performer

Posted by Phil on 1st Dec 2016

This blade is truly exceptional for the price it arrives sharp and ready to go, a real trooper of a blade.

The handle however isnt particularly great, while comfortable in the hand the fit and finish is a little poor but can be fixed with some sanding or perhaps even replacing it altogether.

Well worth the buy for such a low price.

    Not cheap, but inexpensive.

Got this as a gift and have been very pleased with it. Could be sharper when you first get it but its a machete type tool so it dosent need to be scalpel sharp, but it will take a very keen edge. The painted finish seems to be holding up ok. I have stripped the varnish and paint off the handle and smoothed the edges out and gave it a good treatment with boiled linseed oil and the wood took a nice colour. Shame HH dont do a deal on the blade and sheath.

Buy one abuse it then buy another. Well worth it.

    Excellent value

    Amazing all round.
Ordered on Friday morning delivered on Saturday morning.
Will need slight sanding down round the handle to make it perfect. Well worth it.

    Great performance

Posted by Gamekeeper on 3rd Nov 2014

First HH if your service gets any better I'll get the goods before I've ordered them!
The Marbles Jungle Bowie is much better than I expected, the blade came paper slicing sharp and I tried it out on several types of brush wood, both soft woods and hard woods, green and dead wood. For a light small machete it performed nearly as good as my full sized machete and is easier to carry. I would not let it's smaller blade put you off, it performs greatly.

    great knife

    Posted by b t wilson on 2nd Jun 2014

Bought this large knife and bought the Bolo Machete soon after as was very impressed with its quality, not weighted like a machete due to its smaller size but performs a wide range of tasks around the campsite.
