Kershaw Culpepper
Okay, China made, but for the price you are getting a well made slip joint, fit and finish is spot on. Nice Micarta scales, good blade centering. Hard to find fault except maybe the blade steel. Excellent bang for buck.

The Kershaw Culpepper offers classic style with a Kershaw update.
The Culpepper is a classic slipjoint pocketknife. It features a larger clip-point blade in 7CR17MoV stainless steel. Added vanadium in the formula increases strength, wear resistance, and toughness, giving you a blade with a long-lasting edge. For a contemporary look, the handle scales are black G10, shaped and polished to bring out the lustre and weave of the material.
Kershaw included brass liners and brass rivets for an additional touch of class.

Being fairly new to collecting knives in general and Barlows in particular, I had not come across the Kershaw brand. However this knife is excellent value for money and is a lovely balanced knife - would recommend.
Couldn't resist this Barlow style knife for this price. Had been avoiding Chinese knives (not coronavirus related, just politics) but this was too good to pass up. Comes 'simply' packaged. Nice steel bolsters, not super long like a traditional Barlow but following that similar styling. G10 handles/scales very nice appearance wise, but not truly grippy until you really press down hard. Patterning on the G10 is a little messy, but I can put up with this at this price range. Brass liners & pins nice shinny. Assembly of back sprint to rest of knife seems to have got a fragment of g10 gunk stuck in it. Youtube review of this by some American bloke (think the first review of this knife on there) had the same thing. Lanyard hole a little rough. No biggie. Nice clip point blade. 'Pull' is disappointing, but snap closed is nice, wonder why? Came sharp, fairly thick behind the edge so will have to take it to a 30 degree angle and put a microbevel on at some point. Great item. Too big for UK legal carry, but otherwise from the above super!
