Add to BasketA well designed and practical utility blade knife..The butter smooth blade deployment mechanism is a joy. Blade changing is one of the simplest I've encountered. The blade has three positions and although it doesn't come out as far as some of it's competitors it is sufficient for most tasks.For me it is a little large but that's personal preference.
Found the Outdoor edge Slidewinder I was using was no good for a left hander so paid a little extra for the James Brand Palmer and never looked back, its a little larger than the slidewinder but totally ambidextrous as the slide is top mounted with a smooth action. construction is excellent and worth the price tag associated with this premium utility knife. I will also be purchasing the James brand Palmer blades as the one supplied with it just seems to be the sharpest utility blade I have ever come across. The only down side is that the blade does not protrude very far when fully deployed, I would prefer it to come out slightly further but it just a little niggle.
