The Fox Jungle Parang has a blade sharpness that is more likely to be seen on a small folding knife.
Its hair popping edge will make it a very valuable tool to have with you for preparing your camp site, clearing heavy undergrowth or shelter building. The 1.4116 stainless steel black coated blade is a tough steel with enough solidity to see you through long periods of heavy duty work.
The handle is FRN that has a ribbed texture giving a sure, comfortable grip. The whole package, including the leather belt sheath, is made in Italy with pride and attention to detail, ensuring that you get a seriously quality product.

Really nice looking knife, comfortable in hand and well weighted for chopping whilst still allowing plenty of control for more intricate tasks. Have been using in the jungle for 3 months now and the sheath has fallen apart, the handle rivets have shaken loose so that's now held together with paracord. I could tolerate those things but the blade has also bent in numerous places along the cutting edge. I initially really liked it but because of the above I find myself struggling to recommend it.
