The last time I bought a flashlight I got three for £5. Having bought this little beauty I now realise that cheap purchase didn't actually buy anything worthy of the term 'flashlight' at all. This is absolutely streets ahead of those little cheap deal torches. In the hand it feels solid and well made, the beam floods the scene with more than enough light. The throw is plenty for normal use, and don't worry about the heat attenuation - in normal use you most likely won't be needing 'Turbo' mode much anyway. Strobe is a handy feature for attracting attention - because it operates at the maximum lumen level you only need a very quick burst to get noticed. User interface is slightly clumsy, having to cycle through every mode to get to the top or bottom level. Strobe available at any point. Would I buy again? 100% yes.
