Fällkniven Knives celebrates 40 years as a company and they are celebrating by presenting an limited edition, anniversary model of the Phantom Anniversary folder.
The Anniversary Phantom isn't just a visually appealing folding knife; it boasts perfectly balanced proportions between the handle and blade. Additionally, it features a secure liner-lock mechanism for the blade. Fallkniven utilize an exceptionally advanced Swedish powder steel, Elmax from Uddeholm, for the blade and enhance its performance with a convex-shaped edge. The handle is crafted from legally sourced desert ironwood from the US Southwest, a remarkable wood known for its high density and inability to float, which contributes to its hardness and durability.
Regarding the design, the Phantom embraces the principle of 'Form Follows Function,' a century-old Scandinavian philosophy that champions simplicity and utility in design. Fallkniven eschew superfluous details in favor of clean, classic lines that enhance the knife’s usability and appeal.
In a nod to Fallkniven's heritage, they've adorned the knife with a circular nickel silver medallion featuring the Three Crowns, the Small Swedish National Coat of Arms. Fällkniven AB is authorized by the State Herald of Sweden to use this emblem, a privilege they reserve for their most special creations. Since 1999, Fallkniven's status as a Purveyor to the Royal Court of Sweden has also entitled us to use the Great National Coat of Arms, His Majesty the King’s personal emblem, in their promotions. In 2024, they celebrate not only 40 years of excellence in the knife industry but also 25 years as a royal court supplier, maintaining consistent ownership since their inception in 1984.
The Phantom is presented in a gift box, accompanied by an exclusive multifunctional leather sheath with a belt clip, designed for both horizontal and vertical wear on a belt.
