The Extrema Ratio FULCRUM C is the compact version of the FULCRUM, which equals in robustness and sturdiness. Its downsized blade (10.5cm) and handle (9.5cm) make it comfortable to carry. The included hard sheath can be worn vertically, horizontally or obliquely (at a 45° angle), and features a single automatic pressure-activated security lock for quick, easy drawing and sheathing. The compact handle probably does limit slightly the amount of force you can put on the knife in demanding tasks but I think that is outweighed by how well it fits and feels in its sheaf The sheaf is well designed as you can carry the knife horizontally or vertically knowing it’s not coming out unless you want it to
This is truly a superb knife. The quality and workmanship is of the highest standard. the edge is razor sharp, the angles are perfect. The handle fits my hand just perfectly ( I was a little hesitant upon reading some reviews from those who were concerned that the handle was too short). I decided to take the plunge and I'm not sorry I did! I will certainly consider another Extrema Ratio knife, (possibly the Doberman IV), in the future. I was supposed to buy a new vacuum cleaner as our Dyson has packed in. But I've put it off until next month and bought this ER Fulcrum instead! If my wife finds out, my nether regions might well experience the true cutting power of this superb, tough, yet perfectly balanced knife. the sheath is first rate too - easily adjustable and holds the knife in a very secure, yet accessible grip. Buy one - you won't regret it!I'd better start reading vacuum cleaner reviews now... :(
worth the cash. Solid, top build quality and shave sharp out of the box. A word of warning though, this is compact, I take a size 8 glove (small-med) and this nestles perfectly in my dainty mitt! If you've got large hands the hand is going to feel small!
Great little back up knife, superb quality, stays in sheath until you want it..this now lives on my rucksack strap..and loves to be used.
As described this is a high end blade that oozes quality. Very well balanced in the hand in either sabre or reverse grip. You know it will be able to take a hammering in the field which gives you confidence and also finished off with a super tough sheath. Recommended.
I'm a big fan of extrema ratio having owned the RAO, MPC and 2T. After purchasing this model however i was dissapointed to be honest. I understand the aim of the knife is to be compact however the handle is just far to small. Build quality of materials superb as always from ER, shame about tiny size of handle.
A little bit smaller than I expected, especially on the handle. Too big for an EDC but strong enough for practical use. It is very well built, and very sharp, will definatly be buying another one soon. The sheath is one of the best I have seen, especially being able to mount it horizontally. It feels indestructable.
