I bought a few of these for work and friends direct from USA, they all arrived either blunt or physically unsharpened. After a little work though they could shave hair thanks to a good easy to sharpen carbon steel. The one piece construction makes the balance very much near the handle and so these are no better choppers than a large knife. Still love it though and if your into hawks, deffo worth the money
I was going to order the SOG Tactical Tomahawk but decided on the Estwing instead this was because of the full metal construction I watched a vidio on youtube of a guy pulling him self up by this tomahawk the weight of this is not to heavy and it is very strong . I put a finner point on the spike and fully sharpend the edge which is no big deal I will be doing it again with use.The sheath is naff but what was expected all in all great value for money. I didnot want to break the bank on a hawk. I got what I wanted . The guys at Heinnie were great with comunication and no one could fault the speed of delivery especialy with Christmas post. Thanks very much
