Description

Designed by Journeyman knifemaker, James Gibson, the ESEE Gibson Pinch is an emergency survival blade/mini-knife that's easy to hold in the hand and ergonomically shaped for ease of use.

The Pinch is held in the sheath by a rare earth magnet, making it very secure to carry, yet simple to deploy. When James was asked where he came up with the name, he said "It'll do in a pinch!"

Great for storing in your survival kit tin or around your neck, out in the wilds this tiny knife could be a life saver.

    ESEE GIBSON PINCH FIXED BLADE

Posted by Dale Tolley on 10th Dec 2025

Don't know you are carrying this small fixed blade holds a excellent edge cuts real deep for such a tiny thing A Mighty minnow fit a lanyard gives the handle that extra grip purchase . Powerful little magnet stuck in a hard durable plastic makes up the sheath which holds the pinch perfectly . HH excellent .

Excellent, converted me to neck wear.

Usual lightning service from all at HH. As the title suggests, I wasn't a fan of neck worn tools. The Gibson Pinch has challenged my preconceptions. Very tactile, fits my large hands very well. Sheath system with a magnet works very well, adding another tool that you might not be carrying otherwise. While adding a paracord fob would extend the grip, it's not required for the small jobs it's intended for. Keep it very sharp, and it's a credible back-up. Not the cheapest option, but a quality product IMHO.
