Great Idea - Horrid Execution
While the wallet’s concept is lovely, it’s execution is bad. For starters the pen pocket is utterly useless for anything but their special pen(probably) and is extremely bulky while squishy making the wallet peculiar to hold. But worse than that the metal card slot which is the key feature is constructed such that it fit’s 4 cards correctly. However at the very top there is enough space between the springs and the cover to fit a card in between the springs and the top. If that happens everything is stuck. Given that this happens quite easily whenever one extracts or replaces one of the 4 cards intended to go there it means the wallet is as good as unusable. The only reason this doesn’t get 1 star and I’m not sending it back is because I can see the potential. I intend to remove the cover plate and sand down the offending gap as well as add better guides (3d printed) which should make the metal section work. After that I intend to remove pen pocket and resew the cloth-part to be a bit more ergonomic. So after reworking the thing it will have served as the base for an actually great wallet. As it is though, it’s an embarrassment in terms of execution to an otherwise brilliantly creative company.
