The Dango A-Series Adapt Wallets combine specific characteristics & functions from its iconic predecessors. It is truly a unique wallet that encompasses all the attributes of a modular Dango wallet. Exclusively, the A10 Wallet requires no tools to quickly adapt from one wallet to another. The Dango A10 Adapt Bifold Wallet can also be used by itself as a great slim all aluminium RFID blocking wallet or transform into a high capacity bifold wallet with its full range of pocket adapters. The adapters all share an innovative quick release sliding back-plate that swiftly glides along the A10’s rail system. The rail system not only holds pocket adapters, but it double functions as an open ID window for one card making it a sole player in the wallet world.

A10 Adapt Wallet Chassis
The A10 wallet chassis is made of machined 6061 aerospace grade aluminium and anodized to perfection. The A10 is equipped with Dango’s popular and unique patent pending quick release rail mechanism on both sides of the wallet that allows easy access to cards while keeping them securely in place. On one side of the chassis is a horizontal cavity holding up to 4 cards that is protected by a removable aluminium RFID plate. On the other side is a single card, vertical oriented cavity meant for displaying identification, badges and any cards that needs scanning; perfect for accessing secured buildings and boarding public transportation.

This wallet contains a cavity for the Dango notebook, and space for the Dango pen (neither is supplied with this variant).

    Great Idea - Horrid Execution

Posted by Philipp Dunkel on 26th Jun 2024

While the wallet’s concept is lovely, it’s execution is bad. For starters the pen pocket is utterly useless for anything but their special pen(probably) and is extremely bulky while squishy making the wallet peculiar to hold. But worse than that the metal card slot which is the key feature is constructed such that it fit’s 4 cards correctly. However at the very top there is enough space between the springs and the cover to fit a card in between the springs and the top. If that happens everything is stuck. Given that this happens quite easily whenever one extracts or replaces one of the 4 cards intended to go there it means the wallet is as good as unusable. The only reason this doesn’t get 1 star and I’m not sending it back is because I can see the potential. I intend to remove the cover plate and sand down the offending gap as well as add better guides (3d printed) which should make the metal section work. After that I intend to remove pen pocket and resew the cloth-part to be a bit more ergonomic. So after reworking the thing it will have served as the base for an actually great wallet. As it is though, it’s an embarrassment in terms of execution to an otherwise brilliantly creative company.

    Dango bifold A10 wallet

Posted by Derek Mac on 27th Jan 2021

My son bought a minimalist wallet recently and it made me realise that I could do with a change myself. Having looked at various types there was always a feature missing, that is the ability to carry cash. Having reviewed YouTube videos I came across the A10 bifold. I like the aluminium case and the style of the wallet but being able to store cash in the hidden compartment sold it for me. The wallet is so light I nearly notice it’s there so much so I have to pay my pocket to make sure it’s still there. I also got a belt loop from Dango direct and a tether so that I can wear it securely in my pocket. Have to say this is the best wallet I have ever owned even compared to expensive wallets. I will also look at other Dango wallets because this one is so great.

    Very handy

Posted by David on 10th Sep 2020

This is a great wallet dare I say my favourite. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for at the end of the day, it’s well made and the materials are top notch but what I really like about it is it’s so versatile with it’s rail system and of course you get Heinnie’s fantastic service, order one day receive it the next, full marks Heinnie Haynes!!!
