Based on the original Razel by Jon Graham, a mechanic turned knifemaker, the CRKT Razel Compact is a powerful pocket fixed-blade with a chisel style profile built to handle the harsh daily conditions of shop life. Its squared chisel blade gives it multi-tool qualities and the black oxide coating protects the steel underneath enabling it to excel in a variety of conditions, including push cutting, scraping, and slicing.This is a working-class everyday fixed blade that’s built to get dirty — but it still cleans up well. The contoured G10 handle gives it a refined fit and finish that feels great in the hand and looks like a premium tool.
The blade itself is made of D2 steel for excellent edge retention with a slightly rounded body and a sharp Veff serration at the top of the blade, not to be confused with jimping. The Razel Compact will hold up to wear and tear over the long haul.
A hard thermoplastic sheath comes standard, with a fitted pocket clip for convenient and comfortable carry.
