Must be the best value big bowie on the market. Full tang and good steel that is designed to be used not put in a display case. Great handle shape for chopping and hacking. Nice thick blade with some weight behind it. Works as a knife and an axe and hopefully will last forever.
This is the first big knife I've bought from Condor, but knew I loved their knives from when I bought their Headstrong model a while ago, the Moonshiner does not break this trend. The width of the blade may suggest it being weighty in hand, however it is anything but, this is a very lively knife that is well balanced and suited to a variety of tasks, from batoning to making tent pegs. The hardwood handle has a great feel and the slightly hooked end is perfect to grip when pulling it from the expertly crafted sheath, which combines functionality and aesthetics with its clip point design and condor motif, I highly recommend this knife for bushcraft usage.
