A Cold Steel collection isn't complete without certain defining models. The Trail Master is one such knife. It's a big but well balanced Bowie Knife. It has a 9½ inch blade with an 8mm thick spine so it's built for heavy duty usage. This is, however, destined for my display cabinet. I already have the little brother to this, the Recon Scout which will be going on wilderness camping trips to the Scottish Highlands. Thie Trail Master is a true classic and now I want the other 2 variants currently in production, the VG1 San Mai III and the CPM 3V models. Bought this with the San Mai Recon Tanto and both arrived the morning after I placed the order. Excellent service is standard at Heinies and the staff have never failed to reach this exceptional level in my experience.
