The Civivi Foldis Copper is a weighty little knife for its size thanks to the subdued blackened copper handle scales. They give this impressive folder a substantial, weighty feel in the hand.
The blade is made from Nitro-V stainless steel, is under three inches long and doesn't lock. It is therefore a UK friendly carry knife. The indent in the opening mechanism means that there is a degree of resistance in the closed and open position.
A wire pocket clip is attached.

Flipper works well but as its a non lockable blade, the opened detent could be stronger, especially as there is no half detents to save your fingers. Overall it's a bit expensive for what its is.

Bought this well over a year ago, when it first came out due to reading about it being an extremely deployable front flipper that is UK legal, and as far as I'm concerned it is. It's a Civivi, I like them, their build's are good, smooth and reliable, as well well use the best metrics bang for buck, in my humble opinion. Apart from it being little bit heavier than the other variants of this fine knife, I think it's a gem for the price, and I doubt you're going to find a more addictive front flipper EDC that is UK legs. It losses a star for the slight weight to size ratio, but that was my choice to purchase the copper variant which I like more. It's not as light as say something like the Thrill from Lion Steel which is no doubt going to be lighter due to it's aluminium scales. A great purchase none the less :) Obviously the chaps and gals at HH delivered this with their usual excellence of stelar speed and custom :)
