Carry All Leather Belt Pouch

Lovely bits of kit. Nicely made leather knife pouch which I can use for several of my folders. I put a few coats of mink oil on which has softened the pouch up and given it a bit of a protective coat. It's a good pouch for a really good price. Very pleased

Just bought the large natural leather basketweave sheath to house my Buck 110 . As per usual great service from Heinnie Haynes . For the price dont expect top quality leather / stitching etc but it is what it is and does the job . This is my second such pouch and I would say dont be dissapointed because the pouch itself is rather dry when you receive it but that can be very easily rectified . As with all my leather sheaths / pouches I first give them a good covering of either virgin olive oil (which slightly darkens the leather ) or good old baby oil which contains nothing that will damage your sheath , This gives any dried out leather a good feed . Once this has dried out after a few days you can then further feed the leather with beeswax or some leather conditioner and rub it well in , this helps to waterproof the leather and stitching . Depending how often you use your knife / and sheath evry once in a while re feed the leather with a wax or conditioner and they should last you forever .

The medium size is a perfect fit for my SAK farmer X, I have had no problems with the smaller size that I have had on my belt for ages so I'm looking for years of service from this one too.

Excellent value. I got the natural colour (not dyed) which takes boot polish/saddle soap easily and darkens immediately. Soaking in oil ensures the snug fit of a folder as the leather takes the shape of the handle.

I got the large pouch along with the rough rider jumbo trapper, it fits perfectly, but as stated the leather is a bit stiff, so I soaked it & worked the leather, once soft I wrapped the trapper in cling film & put it in the wet pouch & shaped it round the knife & let it dry overnight, its noe perfectly formed to the knife, a polish with brown boot polish & it looks amazing, well worth the £8 .
