Used this bag for years in the Army , including the Swedish Army Arctic Survival Course ! Kept Me warm down to below -30 degrees C . Hard to see in the pictures is that the fabric lining the bag is a very fine thermal one , almost an ultra thin fleece . This makes the bag lining feel warm to the touch , rather than freezing like plain nylon or pertex ! The sleeves are made of the same coated fabric as the outer shell , as an excellent extra there are meraklon wristlets sewn onto the ends , helping to keep the sleeves secure as well as providing a bit of hand protection/warmth whilst getting the kettle on or fiddling with anything that doesn't need You to get out of the bag. No problems with draughts or holding in heat , really effective draught collar and thick padded baffle between the double zips. Like all Carinthia gear You pay for what You get . In this bag You get a bag for any cold area of the world ,which will last You for years ....Mine is 25 years old and looks and works like it's brand new !
