The elegant Boker Plus Zenshin is reminiscent of the world-famous Higonokami pocket knives, which have been manufactured in the Japanese town of Miki since 1896. Unlike its historical models, however, the handle body of the gentleman's knife is not made of a single piece of folded metal, but of flat stainless steel handle scales with a matt stonewash finish.
The flat design does without additional liners and lies comfortably in the hand. The 440C blade is supplied with an elaborate two-tone finish and a flat grind. It is opened by an extended tang and securely locked by a frame lock

Add to BasketThis is a beautiful well made knife. The fit and finish is spot on and it is razor sharp. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think Boker missed a great opportunity to make another UK EDC like the Zenshin 42 (42 means it’s legal carry in Germany). If Boker had gone further with the Friction Folder idea (which is what this knife looks like) and had a tighter pivot instead of a Frame lock it would have been spot on. This is however a great knife and I love it.
Lovely knife, great weight definitely my new favourite. Once again the usual fantastic service from Heinnie Haynes was ordered on Wednesday afternoon and in my hand on Thursday, less than 24hrs later, if I have one complaint it would be because the courier didn't ask for proof of my age, but then I am old and I guess I look it.
