Boker Plus Seenotretter 01 Folding Knife
Boker Plus Seenotretter. It's a maritime folding knife developed with the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS), featuring full stainless steel construction, a 3.35-inch half-serrated 4116 steel blade, and a marlin spike. It uses a slipjoint mechanism. Includes a bottle/shackle opener, with a deep-carry clip, and a lanyard bail. The sheepsfoot blade is designed for safety on boats, featuring a serrated edge for tough ropes and a nail nick for opening. It includes a stainless steel marlin spike for untying knots, along with a bottle/shackle opener. The whole thing is stainless steel to help against corrosion. Comes with a deep-carry tip-up clip and a large lanyard ring. It is stamped/engraved with the Hanseatic cross logo of the sea rescuers on the handle. Just adds to the lovely fit, finish and overall look of the knife. This is a stunning piece made by Boker. I'm sure you can guess I'm a big fan. A really interesting and beautifully crafted example of kit that's ideal for tasks as a military/Naval tool. I also like that some money goes to maritime charities. This is an awesome bit of kit.
