Description

Chad Los Banos makes what has come to be described as "big small knives". These are usually folding knives of a diminutive nature which are big in character and performance.

So it is with the Boker Plus DW-1 which is his smallest pocket knife ever and features sophisticated ergonomics and high utility. Even this dwarf with barely 7cm of overall length can be held securely and firmly in order to cut uncooperative packaging straps, cartons, and anything else one may come across.

    Boker Plus DW-1

Posted by James on 11th Jan 2026

Bought this knife from Heinnie about 3 years ago. I used it literally everyday. It's my undersung favourite knife. I often forget it's even on my keyring but I've never been stopped anywhere. I wrecked the tip a few months back through poor use (my fault not the knife) but I still use it to slice. Never even sharpened it. Even today my 5 year old son and I were in the park, he wanted to eat an apple and he hates the skin. After a few seconds of "what do you want me to do?" The penny dropped and I had a to peel it. 10/10 for box cutting, peeling, cable tie cutting, tag removing etc. don't get me wrong it's not going to skin a rabbit but it's one of those things when you have nothing on you and you need something sharp/thin that's always there.
