    AN EASY 5 STARS

    Posted by GRANT.E on 1st Oct 2016

HAD THIS KNIFE ACOUPLE OF MONTH NOW AND IT IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVOURITE KNIVES..OK NO SUPER STEEL BUT EVEN IN D2 THIS IS AMAZINGLY SHARPS ,KEEPS IT PRETTY WELL TOO.. THE KNIFE JUST TICKS ALL THE BOXES IMO. I HAVNT ALTERED ANYTHING AND THIS KNIFE OPENS EASILY AS QUICK AS ANY OF MY ASSISTED OPENERS. NOT CHEAP BUT YOU COULD GET A HELL OF A LOT LESS FOR THIS MONEY,BUT IMO PROBABLY COULDNT GET MUCH MORE.. CHEERS ALL.

BIT DUBIOUS WITH THIS ONE ON THE GROUNDS OF THE D2 BLADE STEEL,PREVIOUSLY MY LION STEEL OPERA 9cm CAME CHIPPED AND AN ODD GRIND AND MY DENDRA TYPHOON DIDNT COME THAT SHARP.. TOOK ME A WHILE BUT BOTH ARE NOW RAZOR SHARP, THE BASTINELLI THOUGH WAS PERFECT, GAVE IT A LIGHT STROP BUT DIDNT REALLY NEED IT. THE KNIFE IF BEAUTIFUL, LOOKS, FEEL , EASE OF OPENING ,[VERY SMOOTH] GOOD LOCK UP , SOLID AND VERY CENTRAL .. ALL BOXES TICKED AND VERY HAPPY . CHEERS HEINNIE , AND THANKS RICHARD.

    production knife with custom quality

This is a beautifull knife! every component is made to a very high standard, opens smoothly and locks up like a bank vault. The carbide glass breaker is a nice addition to get you out of trouble or help others out . I have the satin blade but the dark is also lovely as the titanium frame is dark washed as well which would be good for operators to keep low profile.Very sharp out of the box and a nice drop point blade with lots of belly, I dont think there is anything else in its price range to match it. Sebastion Coves makes it a point of honour all his products are as good as they can be and it shows.

Currently the best knife that I own. Perhaps it just 'fits' me perfectly. Super centered blade., early lock up, very smooth bearing opening, very satisfying ergonomics, deep carry pocket clip (tip up right only) Some reviewers are saying that the clip is revesible. (It's ssoo not) If you reverse this clip it will stick out sideways from the handle., but fine if you want right hand tip up. I've bought the blackwashed version which is very cool (a bit more expensive) You know how sometimes you buy something and it's far better than you imagined, well, this is one of those knives. A beautiful knife to hold, look at and operate and very good in the hand. Will be keeping an eye on Bastinelli when I've saved up some pennies again. Well worth the money.
