Amazing knife!
My latest acquisition has impressed me immensely! It’s a liner-lock knife with a blade length of 3 9/16” (90mm) and a closed length of 4 ⅝” (116mm) The blade steel is 50CrMov15, a very popular steel for kitchen knives. It was extremely sharp straight out of the box and the fit&finish is flawless. The handle scales are “hardwood composite “ …. meaning Plywood. Some knife snobs might have a downer on plywood but it’s an excellent material for knife handles. They’ve put a bit of effort into the packaging as well! The knife is manufactured in China, which can be problematic… but checkout the Barebones website… there’s lots of information about their ethical and sustainability standards, and their philanthropy. All this for just £32
