Andre de Villiers is a South African designer, maker, who pushes an almost obsessive pursuit of quality. Nothing leaves his workshop until absolutely perfect.
The Gambler uses a classic knife form with a nicely sized handle and clip point blade. Andre de Villiers' version uses bang up to date materials and technology to produce a knife of unrivalled quality and functionality.
The blade uses N690 stainless steel and opens via the generously sized nail indent. It has a half stop during engagement and uses a traditional non-locking slip joint and as the blade is under three inches long too, it is classed as UK friendly carry.
The striking handle is made up of burlwood with a stainless bolster featuring laser engraving (as does the pocket clip). This is the NLA (New Laser Art) version, which simply means it differs slightly from the LA (Laser Art) version!
