The Viper Hug is a folding knife with a slipjoint system designed by Sacha Thiel, inspired by the Native model by Jared Oeser.
The Hug is a compact folding knife with a peaceful temperament, designed to go with its owner every day, always ready to offer extraordinary cutting qualities thanks to its ultra sharp Böhler M390 blade which is elegantly satin-finished. It is available in thirteen variations, with titanium, Micarta, carbon fiber or G10 handles and a choice of double or single bolster.
This version uses the G10 in a choice of red or ivory with a double bolster. The handle liner and bolsters use a single piece of titanium and the blade has a decent amount of resistance in the open position and a half stop when opening and closing.

I certainly got what I paid for in the best way possible. This knife is amazingly well designed and engineered by some passionate Italians and a (I presume) French knife maker. I love the double bolstered version I have to say, and I’m waiting for some more of their double bolstered designs to come back in stock, be careful, this knife bites :) it’s extremely sharp out of the box, great knife, it will not disappoint.
