First of all the positive: the steel is top quality inox, the individual blades and tools feel strong and capable and slide smoothly in and out of their holders. I particularly *love* the fact that the Swiss flag is used to release the lock on the knife blade! The one thing that let the knife that I received down was the poor quality of the wooden cheeks that were fitted to the sides of the knife. They aren't shaped, as the image implies and feel light and shoddy. A real shame.
I HAVNT BOUGHT ONE OF THESE FOR YEARS AND BY GOD THEY ARE DIFFERENT NOW. GOOD SIZE BLADE AND BUTTON LOCK, PUT THIS ON THE WICKED EDGE AND ITS NOW LIKE A MORA....SUUPPPEEERRR SHARP !! WOODEN SCALES NICE, SAW BRILL INFACT THE ONLY THING I FIND USELESS IS THE CORK SCREW ,WHY??? IDEALLY A PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER WOULD BE MORE APT SURELY?? I DID FIND ONE [THE 78] CANT GET IT ANYWHERE AT MO..SHAME THAT . THIS IS A GOOD WORK KNIFE THOUGH , AND HEH YOU NEVER KNOW ,THERE MIGHT BE A DAY IN SUMMER OR WHEN EVER WHEN IM AT WORK AND GET THE URGE FOR BOTTLE OF WINE AND PHEW !! THANK GOD FOR THAT , NEARLY GOT CAUGHT OUT THEN WITHOUT A CORK SCREW,,,
