Victorinox Outrider 111mm Red Folding Knife 18

This is one hell of a knife. As usual, fit and finish is superb. Technically, it is not, UK Legal Carry, but I am sure that if you are sensible about how you carry it, you should not run into any problems. Once again, Hennies Hays showed exceptional customer service.

Decent large Victorinox knife for the price, is a good alternative for a climber (par the hook) if you want something more substantial and reliable in your hand. But for a fair amount less you can get the soldier which is virtually the same but without the scissors and corkscrew if you are just looking for a lock knife from the same brand and not much more. But obviously a lot more useful in day to day life, I especially like how the Phillips screwdriver comes out with the line of the SAK and not against it (like with the solider).

I love the Outrider. It has all the functionality of the Huntsman or Farmer X but with a studier locking blade. Then there's that Phillips - much more usable than the side mounted type. Fits in pocket ok. Only negative is not being UK EDC legal. Improvements? One handed opening would get me to buy again.
