Recent Xmas pressie ex my Grandson! I was delighted to receive this as it is a grand addition to my collection. This is a very handsome Knife, classic 'Bowie' lines complemented by a wooden hilt that has an internal Tang. The brass pommel and guard add a 'Military' look to the Knife and mean it will look as good on a Webbing belt , Western Gunbelt or as part of a collection. Without an evident full Tang,It would not be my first go to for heavy work(even though many famous and popular Military Utility knives also have enclosed 'partial tangs). For the price this is an excellent addition and the blade was very sharp on receipt. All in all excellent balance between quality and cost makes this a Knife very easy to recommend and as ever. Beautiful knive for the price, well made and a nice weight to it , i have many Bowie knifes, but this is more of a display knife in my opinion, but well worth getting if you like Bowie knives.
I have a WW2 USMC Raider in a Collins & Co Legitimus sheath. I thought the Leatherneck would make a fine accompaniment. For £55.00 this is amazing value and compares with others over double the price. It’s well made with good grinds. Comfortable grip looks and feels great. Very solid brass hilt and pommel. The leather sheath is thick and strong. If you buy you won’t be disappointed.
