Description

Part of the Honshu Historic Forge series, this United Cutlery Bowie pays tribute to a true icon of blade history. Built for both function and presence, it features a high carbon steel blade with a gun-blued finish, delivering classic looks with modern performance.

A solid carbon steel guard, also blued, offers dependable hand protection, while the rich wooden handle adds a traditional touch with its downturned pommel and lanyard hole for added security. The Bowie includes a leather belt sheath with laced frog, offering multiple carry options straight out of the box.

A bold blend of heritage and rugged practicality.

    A damn fine piece

Posted by Daniel Dudley on 7th May 2025

Many will compare it to the Cold Steel 1917 and I've yet to buy that one, but so far, this beauty has done me well. Had some overgrown vines and other bits growing on the back of my fence thanks to my neighbour and this thing cleaved it right off. Sharp out of the box and sharp after work too. Nice sheath by the way. Great knife! I do like the tang on exposed on the back as compared to the front as on the 1917 Cold Steel. So there's that too.
