TAD M-65 RS Field Jacket Ranger Green

First issued to service personnel in 1965, the M-65 was designed as a cold weather jacket to replace the previous revisions from 1943 and 1951. From its first deployments in Vietnam to modern frontiers, the M-65 withstood the test of time, becoming a cultural icon still in use half a century later.

The TAD M-65 RS Field Jacket is TAD's take on the durable and versatile shell jacket and was an exercise in proportion and restraint. Featuring a modern but relaxed fit, bi-swing back, and articulated sleeves for freedom of movement, classic details such as a locking waist cinch, adjustable cuffs, stowable hood, and button-down collar help you adapt to your changing environment.

ACCESSIBLE STORAGE

• Two covertly bellowed upper chest pockets and two front cargo pockets provide ample and accessible storage. Hidden snap closures keep your contents secure, and flaps tuck away for easy access.

WEATHER PROTECTION

• A lightweight hood, made of Amphibious Cloth, provides protection from light moisture. When not in use, the hood stows away in the stand-up collar.

COMFORT AND DURABILITY

• The Nylon / Cotton (NYCO) Ripstop (RS) material, blends the durability of nylon with the breathability of cotton to strike the perfect balance between comfort and durability. Using a special reinforcing technique, ripstop materials stop small tears from spreading into larger holes. This sturdy fabric is able to withstand long term land-based missions and allows you to move swiftly through rough terrain. It also features a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish to resist precipitation.
