Good fit for me but not as sturdy as I thought they would be.
I bought two pairs (one siege & one black) in May 2022, and they became my daily wear. Both fit me greatly. Tag size 30 has an actual waist measurement of almost 32". Inseam measurement seems to be true to size. After two years of regular wear, both pairs now have holes & fraying on the right back pocket, where I normally would keep my wallet, and on the right thigh where my shoulder bag would rest against my thigh. The siege fabric is softer than the black fabric as it's made of mostly cotton (99% vs. 76% on the black). There was a bit of chemical smell on the black fabric to start with, as I recall. I much prefer the siege fabric (& also its colour). Even now, after two years of daily wear, the black fabric still feels a bit stiffer than the siege fabric, although it has become much softer. I wasn't expecting to see this level of wear & tear (holes & fraying) after only two years of wear to be honest, especially given they are reinforced (made of several layers of fabric) in some areas. My Japanese denim (granted they use denim fabric that's slightly thicker/heavier) seem to perform much better. I had a pair of Lee (Japan Made) jeans that lasted for 10 years, before I had to throw them away. I doubt these TAD jeans will last that long. Overall, I am happy with them, particularly the good fit on me, but I really wish TAD would choose more sturdy denim fabric for these.
