I was bought this as a gift from my wish list for use as a thermos flask for hot water. It’s a solidly made and cool looking piece of kit that attracts many admiring comments. I have to say that I am disappointed in its ability to keep water hot for a long period and the design of the lid really lets it down with hot liquid, as the contents cool the seal is maintained and a vacuum is created in the flask which actually makes it difficult to open as the thread slips and the lid turns without releasing. The bottle opener on the lid is just a gimmick that I have never used. The flask is better used for keeping liquids cold and works fine at that. You can get a better performer for a better price but it might not look as good as this does.
