The Tactile Bexar Slipjoint is a meeting of classic function and modern style. While it may not be your grandfather’s slipjoint, it’s still a knife he would be more than happy to carry. The blade is made from Magnacut which is a CPM premium blade steel with high wear and corossion resistance. The handle is Grade 5 Titanium which together with the blade steel puts it in the premier league of knife quality.

This is my first Magnacut knife. It was easy to sharpen but difficult to get sharp. On the third attempt I cracked it - gradually removing the ‘micro burr’ and stropping to a wicked sharp edge. So it took time to get right - more troublesome than any other knife in my collection. The fit and finish is good - with good blade centering. The back spring is slightly proud in the closed position near the pivot - from what I can tell on Google images they all look like that. Otherwise I’m pleased with the knife - now I’ve spent a week sharpening it!
