Description

The Suunto Clipper L/B NH Compass is a high-quality attachable compass that is compact in shape and carefully balanced for northern hemisphere use. The clip on the reverse of the compass clips firmly to your gear and frees up your hands. It's small enough to clip to a sleeve or watch strap, though commonly these are used with bag straps and backpacks. 
 
The liquid-filled compass reads direction on a rotating bezel in 10 degree increments, allowing you to read the tool quickly and reliably, essential for correctly determining true north and orienting your position

    Suunto Clipper L/B NH Compass. A nice looking liquid-filled, jewel-bearing button compass. Compact (approx 30mm) with a sturdy plastic clip that securely attaches to watch straps, backpack straps, or map edges/cases. It has a rotating bezel for setting bearings and luminous cardinal markings, although the glow is not permanent, and needs light charging. Which I don't think is that much of an issue personally. It's also suitable for underwater navigation (waterproof up to 500 metres as I understand) and operates in temperatures from -30°C ×60°C So its tough little compass. Works hard for you. Good price for all that. Nice bit of kit fairplay.

    Really not sure about this yet. Seems expensive for what you get so it will really depend on how long it lasts. The clip is also just part of the moulding and a bit awkward to use so not that practical. If it lasts I'd go up to four stars but time will tell.
