Description

One of the most popular and in-demand folding knives ever created, the Spyderco Para Military 2distills the performance and reliability of the Mil Model into a more compact, pocket-friendly format. It also adds the advantage of Spyderco’s patented Compression Lock mechanism, a high-strength lock that allows the knife to be closed one handed without placing your fingers in the path of the edge.

The Spyderco Para Military 2 Brown Canvas has a useful twist on its advanced design with a full-flat-ground blade crafted from Crucible’s Cru-Wear Carbon Steel, a very hard steel, but one which is easy to sharpen. Being a carbon steel, this blade will develop a lovely patina with use.

The handle is made from durable, Brown Canvas Micarta, with a unique ergonomic design that offers a secure grip and outstanding control. The knife features the Spyderco's linerlock, which locks the blade securely in place when open and allows for easy one-handed closing. The PM2 also features a four-way pocket clip that allows the knife to be carried in a variety of positions, making it easy to access. This knife is perfect for hunting, camping, and everyday carry.

    Spyderco pm2 Cruwear/Micarta

    Firstly pictures dont do the micarta scales justices, after some use and work the handles will eventually go a nice dark brown. Could speed up the process with a natural oil but a grubby hand will eventually get there. Want to say this is my daily work knife(carpenter) and not a display model. First time i have used Cruwear and edge retention and ease of getting a edge back is amazing! Used Spydercos &Benchmades popular steels before and Cruwear wins by far. Never reviewed before, but feel this knife needs praise!
