The Spyderco para 3 black blade folding knife packs all the time-tested features and functionality of Spyderco’s iconic Para Military 2 into a smaller, easier-to-carry format. For tactical end users who are concerned about light discipline or those who just prefer the look of a black blade, the Para 3 is now available with a tough Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) blade coating. This low-profile coating is permanently bonded to the premium CPM S45VN stainless steel blade, which features a full-flat grind, a PlainEdge cutting edge, and a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.
The blade of the Spyderco Para 3 Black Blade is supported by a high-strength Compression Lock mechanism nested within the handle’s textured black G-10 scales. Its easy-to-clean, open-backed handle construction reduces the knife’s weight, while providing a solid platform for a four-position hourglass clip that supports left and right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. Like the blade, the clip and all assembly screws are blackened with non-reflective coatings.

Simply the best knife I own. But I’ve only just got into knives and edc stuff so take my review with a pinch of salt. Great ergonomics, can’t put it down it’s so fidgety! The only thing wrong with it that I can see is the pocket clip placement. It’s definitely not deep carry.
Received this knife with speedy shipping. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to knives, well anything in that matter. But it's spot on. Blackout coating on all metal parts is perfect and the blade is shaving sharp. The coating will mark with use but a bit of nail polish remover on a rag and it comes up good as new. Very happy!!
When I first saw this knife it certainly set my spyder sense tingling. But the price was quite high so some saving was in order. I have a soft spot for black knives but they tend to be quite large and not easy to carry and use with out worrying about other people sending in the SWAT team. This knife has bitten me more than any other and I am no novice owner. If my wife could not read this I would give you a figure. Sharp strong smooth and the size is spot on. Faults 0. The only thing about this knife I will say is, do not lend this knife to an in experienced user it is very very sharp. I am so glad I saved and bought this knife. I have many other spydercos but this one is by far the best. Buy one it's all you will need.
Excellent company to work with. I managed to mess up my online order yet everything was set right the next morning. My knife was dispatched and I had it in my hand the next day. The knife itself is a fantastic piece of kit. The action is smooth and easy to deploy just as I expect from a Spyderco product. The whole thing screams solid, well built quality. Would be happy to buy again if I needed another though I doubt that would be anytime soon.
