The Manix 2 Lightweight CPM S110V combines the ultra-lightweight construction of Spyderco's award-winning Manix 2 Lightweight with a blade ground from premium Crucible CPM S110V. This state-of-the-art powdered metallurgy steel contains high amounts of vanadium and niobium—alloys that give it exceptional wear resistance and higher corrosion resistance than many other stainless steels.

The full-flat-ground, leaf-shaped blade offers a superior combination of strength, low-friction cutting performance, and point utility. It also features a forefinger choil and strategically placed jimping (texturing) that enhance control during use and Spyderco’s Trademark Round Hole for swift, ambidextrous one-handed opening. The handle of this knife is injection moulded from tough fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and features Spyderco’s distinctive Bi-Directional Texturing pattern to ensure a secure grip in all environmental conditions. A reversible wire clip provides convenient left or right-side tip-up carry and an oversized lanyard hole allows the easy attachment of fobs and lanyards.

Linking the blade and handle is Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock mechanism. This high-strength lock consists of a ball bearing nested within a durable textured polymer “cage.” When the blade is opened, a spring-loaded steel plunger drives the ball bearing forward to wedge between a ramp on the blade and an “anvil” in the handle’s steel insert. Drawing the caged ball bearing to the rear releases the lock and allows the blade to close smoothly while keeping your fingers safely away from the sharp edge. Smooth, strong, and easily operated, the Ball Bearing Lock is also completely ambidextrous.

The Manix2 CPM S110V Lightweight is an exceptionally advanced folding knife that combines light weight, durability, strength, and high-performance cutting capability into a single dynamic package.

    Manix 2 Lightweight 110V

Posted by David D on 26th Oct 2020

I have a small collection of knives; Swiss Army, Buck, Opinel and of course Spyderco. This one is my absolute favourite. With its light weight it sits easily in my pocket, despite its size, you wouldn't know it was there. It's comfortable in my large size hand with plenty of space and no hot spots. Don't worry about the FRCP scales, they are plenty strong enough, grippy and don't deform. The blade is easy to deploy and retract one-handed. Don't be tempted to adjust the blade, give it a couple of weeks and it will easily drop back in one movement. The 110V blade is dead centre, arrived super sharp and I haven't needed to sharpen yet. I did lots of research before settling on this knife and I am so glad I did. Really happy with it and the service from HH. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

    My favorite bigger size EDC

Posted by Alan on 6th Jun 2019

Ergonomics are amazing, I have not experienced a better folding blade for that. it is very light and I forget about it when I carry its even if it is that big. Great blade shape, great finish. It had held it's edge pretty well. This is my heavy duty blade. it gets all the harder type of jobs. After a month the blade ends up closing easily one handed and it makes it very easy and fun to use. I wish the unlocking pieces we grab to unlock the blade were in metal but this is a very minor detail. If I had to choose a buyout knife, that would be the one. Thanks HH for a great service :)

    Posted by GRANT.E on 26th Jul 2016

LOVE THE MANIX 2 AND THE XL ,ERGONOMICS ARE FANTASTIC, WOULD OF PREFERRED IT WITH G10 BUT CANT HAVE WHATS NOT THERE.. OBVIOUSLY THE ADVANTAGE OF THIS MANIX IS ITS SO LIGHT,YOU CARRY THIS ALL DAY AND FORGET ITS EVEN THERE. LOCK UP SOLID, BLADE SITS CENTRAL, NO PLAY AND OF COURSE RAZOR SHARP ALTHOUGH AT THIS POINT NO SHARPER THAN MY S30 MANIX BUT FROM IVE READ THE 110V WILL HOLD THAT SHARP LONGER. ANYWAY GREAT BLADE GLAD I GOT IT AND ANOTHER STEEL ON THE LIST.. CHEERS NICK AND ALL......WISH ID GOT THE PARA WHEN YOU HAD IT.

    Light....sharp.....& beautiful.

Great service once again from HH. Placed the order late on Friday afternoon and the knife was in my hand on Saturday morning. This is my most expensive Syperdco that I've bought so far and it's worth every penny. It's sharp, light and in my opinion beautiful.

    Wow, just................wow!

I have been buying knives from HH for over 20 years, and have bought them to suit varying needs from EDC to work knives to outdoor bushcrafty types and at points in the past for military use. This is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best knife I have ever purchased from them. Feels great in the hand and the texturing and shape make it easy to move into different grips and cutting positions. I love the BB lock, it's such a great design. I would normally be a little wary of things like this to be honest, and find myself thinking Is it actually an improvement, or done for the sake of it? In this case it is absolutely a big plus and definitely not style over substance. Locks up like a Bank Manager with obsessive compulsive disorder, and after a few uses the unfamiliar (to me) became second nature and leaves you wishing that every folder was made this way. I won't bang on about the fact that it's sharp, because it is supposed to be sharp, it's a knife! In brief this is an exceptional all round folder and I believe a reasonable price for what you get. I would sulk like a post election Nick Clegg if I lost it. Then I'd buy another one :)?

    Great knife

Posted by Doch on 21st Oct 2015

I have a number of Spyderco's and this is by far the best one. I prefer it to my PM2 and even my Delica and Stretch. It seems to mould to your hand and the S110V has held it's edge well. I've not had to sharpen it yet (Just a couple of strops to keep it shaving sharp) and I've given it some medium to heavy use. I also took it beach fishing, where it came into contact with salt water. I gave it a good wash when I got home and there is no rust showing at all. If I had any negatives I would have to say the spring on the lock is very strong (Unnecessarily strong IMO). This may slacken with use but at the moment it's very tough to pull the lock backwards. Even with that , I've started putting money away for the full fat version cos it feels so good in hand.

    Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight S110V

Posted by SteelHeadSteve on 5th Sep 2015

I have used a Manix 2 lightweight in CTS BD1 for several years now, without any problems. I like the blocky, Lego-like FRN handle, and find it very good in the sabre grip, and other grip positions as well. Also I don't have a problem with BD1. However, I also don't have a problem with high end steels. I hear good things about S110V, so I got one. I have not used it yet, it has just arrived. Now the BD1 has a stonewash finish, and the S110V has a brushed satin finish. Both blades are machined the same, but the jimping on the S110V blade seems a lot sharper. Check out TheApostleP on Youtube for a balanced video review of the S110V version.
