For SOGs first Fusion tactical folding knife they wanted something that was progressive, and performance driven. The Salute is an acknowledgment that great design can still be affordable with a little perseverance. Take the machined G10 handles in combination with scalloped full-length steel liners for a whole new look. Add a big lockback, smooth as silk operation, and a proven Bowie style blade. For good measure, throw in the patent-pending new invention- a movable thumb stud so you can tailor the position to your own hands. They didn't forget to incorporate their trademark low carry bayonet clip either. The Salute pocket knife lives up to its name and is worthy of carry on any front in the world… including your back yard.

    Really nice looking tactical knife. Fantastic design. Lovely overall shape of the clip point blade(proper sharp) and the textured G10 handle(great grip). The adjustable thumb stud(ambidextrous) is a nice touch with good jimping along the the top. This adds to the grip and secure hold of the knife. The blade is a little stiff flicking out, but after a bit more use it opens and flows a lot easier. The all black finish completes this tactical knife. Looks the part. It is the part. Cracking bit of kit. I now own 7 SOG pieces. Impressive American knives. Impressive company, Heinnie Haynes. Very pleased.
