Add to BasketComfortable gloves that are easy to put on, unlike some Sealskinz gloves. Whilst not as good against the cold as they promise to be, they fared well on a long walk at 2°c, my hands weren't warm but neither were they feeling the cold too much. Not for serious cold weather.
as with the previous review i still got frozen fingers, also the size chart is innacurate, i measured my hand and got the next size up thinking i could wear liners but could only just squeeze my hands in, so i put up with it for a year then this year i got another pair next size up again this time the hands fit fine but the fingers are a bit too long, i don't have fat hands but it seems they don't make any that fit me, i will still wear them but that size chart needs checking, nice gloves but odd sizing
Walking the dog every day through winter can be a really cold affair, and my hands suffer the most. This year I thought I'll lash out and buy some quality gloves to save my fingers from dropping off on those bitter winter days. £69 later I'm now the proud owner of a pair of Sealskinz Cold Weather Fusion Gloves, claiming to be totally waterproof, wind proof and for cold weather. They are well made from pig skin leather and other tech materials, and are soft and comfortable. I couldn't wait to try them out. The next frosty morning I set out with pooch, sporting the new gloves and after an hour or so in the local park the tips of my fingertips were blue with cold. I've had £5 gloves that kept my fingers warmer, so claiming these are cold weather gloves is a bit of a push. Maybe they should rename them "Chilly" weather gloves, because they certainly don't live up to the hype as cold weather gloves. Well made, but in the end bitterly disappointed, and a good amount of cash down the drain. Oh the wonderful stuff I could have bought from My Heinnie wish list for that much dosh...
