Lovely old style scout design but the build quality isn't the best. The blade is nice and sharp but all the tools feel gritty to open. A clean and some oil has improved things. The main blade has too much moment when it's closed and can actually block the cap lifter from closing uses you push it out if the way. First of all , heinnie Haynes Richard and the staff FIVE stars ! Nothing is too much trouble , brilliant shopping experience . The knife. I had to return the first , a rivet fell out of the bale , the seconds secure , blades are razor sharp , looks great very old school traditional look .the quality control leaves a little bit to be desired . The hinges are gritty and there's loads of polishing soap wedged in the hinges . All this can be addressed easily . The worst thing is the gaps in the scales , I'm thinking of Epoxy resin and a clamp! But it's still a good looking usable knife . Shame about the finish/quality control
