just arrived - bigger than i thought but fits hand well. action is stiff but will become ok over time.handle feels plasticky and would prefer warmer wood but great for the money - will go for £1 more nxt time with roughrider work knife -lockback/wood + lanyard hole!

Posted by Nic on 7th Feb 2017

Already have the small one, great legal edc as it is solid and cheap enough to lose without tears. the big one is quite a lot bigger, a really nice handful. Nothing fancy brilliant value for money.

    A great utility knife

Posted by Adam on 9th Jan 2017

This is about the same size as an opinel 10 and feels great in the hand. It's not an expensive knife but the blade is nicely centred and the slip joint firm. It's quite a thick blade and the bevel is quite shallow so it's not a great slicer but it'll sharpen up nicely and be a great, sturdy garden knife .

    Wow

Posted by daimon on 10th Dec 2016

Had a look at this knife yesterday morning (11/10) , but it was showing as out of stock. At lunch time got email saying back in, so i ordered it and today (12/10) it has arrived. Talk about a good ordering system.

The knife is larger than i thought, but will definitely do the jobs i need it too. The blade is sharp straight out of the box and there is no movement/wiggle to the blade when fully opened.

Thanks HH another great knife delivered with the normal speed and ease.

    Very impressed

Posted by BIGJOHNCOFFEY on 13th Jan 2016

Decided to purchase this knife after using the small version as my E.D.C. for a few weeks and being very impressed with it. Although to big for E.D.C. it is still a great addition to my collection especially considering the price. Now plan to use this and the small version in my pack as my carving knife set.

I used the small version heavily for 3 weeks before I had to sharpen in after only having stropped it out of the box and seen as how this larger version uses the same steel type I'm sure this will stand up well to the same abuse.

Also if you haven't bought anything from Heinnie Haynes yet, just do it. Trust me yu will not be disappointed. They are by far the best online supplier of knifes and bushcraft equipment and have one of the best shipping services I've ever experienced from an online supplier. Also the customer service is 2nd to none. HH are now the only company I will buy knifes, E.D.C. and camping and survival stuff from.
