S-Tec Rapid Satin Knife
Bought this as a good sized chunk of folding knife for a bargain price. Out of the box, the edge was not great, but fortunately, I had a Fallkniven Ceramic Whetston in the same parcel from HH... A few strokes on the smooth side of the stone, and a session of stropping returned a good edge. Ergonomics are good on this knife - I removed the pocket clip as the leading edge was too curved and 'snaggy'... Axis lock and smooth pivot will allow you to let the blade 'fall' open.. (pullnig the lock studs back actually pops the blade out by 10 degress or so, and gravity would sod the rest if you are that way inclined. There were a couple of nicks on the rear spine of the blade, likely during production, before the blade was ground to shape, but at this price, I'll be keeping it, and it promises to be a useful hard-use knife.
