    Superb but slightly flawed light.

Posted by Alex T on 14th Oct 2021

Form factor.. amazing. There is no other light that has an inbuilt battery and has the ability to take a 10440 battery as well. This makes this light unique in it's longevity and flexibility for a AAA torch. Simply pocket an extra superlight 10440 battery or two for nightlong lightage. No spare? Charge via USB. Brillliant! Very bright in the Cree version. Plenty bright for cycling for example. Easy to mouth hold for extended periods. You can hardly tell it's in the pocket. Tail switch which is the best kind imo. Tail standing capability too. Very good removable clip. Rare moonlight mode on one click is an excellent idea. Superb OS all round. Strobe and beacon included! Flaws: first one stopped working within 2 days. Returned and 2nd one is ok but not reassuring. Build quality looks very good however so maybe this is a one off? Flaw 2: no lockout so occasionally moonlight is on when taking out of the pocket. Not a major issue with the battery potential. My verdict: a unique and extremely usable and impressive light. Time will tell on the durability.
